Casino & Hotel ADMIRAL Skofije

Pros: The room was modern and spacious, staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful (unlike the staff at the breakfast) and the location was quite convenient for us to see the concert in Trieste at Stadium Nereo Rocco. Hotel had parking lot and was easy to find, the only thing is be careful not to confuse it with the other hotel that has the same name but it is in Kozina (as it happened to us when we drove back from the concert haha) Breakfast was ok, nothing special but was good

Pros: Nice clean room. Liked that it had a bath tub not just a shower. Nice breakfast with best coffee I had on the coast

Perfect location for an event in Trieste

Pros: It was perfectly located for our needs, close to the border and by the highway.

Convenient to go along the Slovenia snd Italian coast

Pros: Good restaurant in the evening after a long day out

Cons: No outside space eg garden or balcony

Pros: Nice hotel to stay on a road trip. Easy to find, parking, breakfast, beds ands sheets - everything is well.

Cons: The room was on the road side, so its a lot of noise if you open the windows.

Pros: This was a lot minute stop as I was riding a motorcycle and got caught in a thunderstorm and this was the nearest place to take refuge. Check in was quick and easy. The room was huge - we had a suite. It was fun to have a casino to go to to pass the time during this unplanned stop.

Pros: Starting from the room, it was very spacious and comfortable. On top of that it was very clean and it also had a big wardrobe. The bathroom is big, with a beautiful spacious shower. It never lacks of the product for showering. Even if you are close to the highway, you never feel the noise of the cars, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The reception staff is very kind and helpful.

Cons: The only downside is the restaurant: it’s visible that is highly understaffed, so the waiting time for the dinner is long. The breakfast doesn’t have so many options, but especially gluten/lactose free options. The bright side is that the meals were still tasty and the daily menu is affordable.

Pros: Old style, but classy! Very clean and well maintained, giving you a sense of luxury. The staff was amazing and sourced for us sandwiches and hot tea in the middle of the night upon our arrival.

Cons: I expected the breakfast to have more options and especially local food.

Good place to use as a base to visit Istria by car

Pros: Nice room and breakfast. Cheaper and better than other’s nearer to Koper. From here you can visit Istria

Cons: Location is ugly. And the ambience of the casino . Fortunately we just used it for sleeping.

Pros: Spaciousness of the room, dinner in restaurant, kindness of staff.
