Chalet Orlica Velika Planina

Pros: very fantastic chalet for some lonely days for a couple, very good hiking trails and the breakfast was good and the staff there so nice

What a stay!

Pros: Amazing scenery, very cozy interior, good sauna, breakfast was included and very good. Total relax, quiet and mountains.

Cons: Small issue with a hot tub, which had such an amazing view that it was a bit disappointing not being able to use it, hope it's fixed soon.

Great location in a very tranquil area.

Pros: Great location in a very tranquil area. The host very kindly allowed us to pay for the extra services (hot tub, and bottled water) via bank transfer when we forgot to withdraw cash. Velika Planina is very remote, requiring a cable car and chairlift to access, or 3km hike to access the property, but is well worth it for the views and serenity of the place - this was my wife's favourite spot on our honeymoon to Slovenia/Croatia.

Cons: A little more information as to the access to the venue further in advance (such as when booked would have been appreciated) as we had thought the free parking meant the property could be accessed via car. As this was not the case we had to leave much of our luggage in the car at the chairlift station. Thankfully Slovenia seems to be a very safe country and there were no issues with this. The cablecar/chairlift is 26 euros per person and had free parking. Thankfully the chairlift has 6 seats allowing space for a reasonable amount of luggage.

Pros: You have everything you need and it is a super location for families or even friends for a weekend.

Pros: the location was one of the best beautiful places I have ever been to. very nicely secluded.

Cons: nothing it was perfect. I would suggest to extend the wooden deck where the tub is. it’s a perfect corner ;)

Pros: The location of the cottage with amazing view is the best! The cottage is very nicely furnished and has a brand nee sauna. The staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Pros: savršena lokacija, ako želite uživati u miru i prirodi, sa predivnim pogledom na okolna brda. Doručak je bio izvrstan. Vrlo laka i jednostavna komunikacija sa domačinima. Topla preporuka.

Pros: Das Frühstück war bereit bei der Ankunft für alle Tage da und mehr als ausreichend. Die Hosts haben sich bei Fragen sofort gemeldet. Und das Chalet war sehr schön eingerichtet. Es waren auch Grundnahrungsmittel wie Öl und Essig, Salz vorhanden.

Magnifique parenthèse à Velika Planina!

Pros: Emplacement exceptionnel pour ce charmant chalet. Aucun vis à vis, un calme absolu. Quelques petits dysfonctionnements lors de notre séjour grâce à une très grande réactivité de Julia tout s’est très bien passé. Le bain nordique au coucher du soleil restera pour nous un moment magique!

Cons: Le lit double de la chambre est un peu petit (120 cm je pense) pour deux adultes
