Relaxing, stress free, comfortable

Pros: Very clean, modern, central location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Relaxing stay in a perfect location in the very city center

Pros: Very modern and comfortable hotel (not too big, not too small) in the perfect location in the city center (with an underground parking).

Cons: Lack of bathroom as a separate room (i.e. washbasin in the room) may not be for everyone, especially during colder winter months.

A modern, clean and efficient hotel with a great breakfast and modern clean well equipped rooms

Pros: Fantastic location for our needs, a short walk to the river where all the restaurants and shops are located. There’s a Lidl underneath that opens late for water, snacks and forgotten items! A bank a few steps away and so convenient for taxi drop offs and pick ups too. The hotel was modern, clean and had all those extras you appreciate while away. We had a lovely view from our window, huge bed, eye level safe, hairdryer, usb chargers, lovey big towels, shampoo and conditioner and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious with made to order eggs and a lovely variety of options.

Cons: It would have been great to have a large bottle of water in the room but appreciate this was sold at reception or could buy at Lidl, which we did next day.

Pros: The hotel is much nicer than in the pictures. The Christmas market was just a few steps away from the hotel entrance and the riverbank was a few minutes' walk away.

Chic Design & Prime Location

Pros: We had a very nice stay at the Occidental Hotel in Ljubljana. The hotel is modern, stylish and beautifully designed, and the location is truly excellent — everything in the city centre is within easy walking distance, which made our stay very convenient. Our room was quite small, but the layout and interior design were creative and well-thought-out, so it still felt comfortable. The common areas are elegant, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the hotel overall feels clean and well-maintained. Staff were polite and professional, and the whole experience was positive. A great choice if you want a modern hotel in a central location in Ljubljana.

Brilliant stay - loved it

Pros: Location of the Hotel is absolutely fantastic - easiest of walking trips into the old town and restaurant are. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Great location, very comfy room

Pros: Really lovely hotel in a perfect location for sightseeing. Nothing is very far in Ljubljana but to walk out of the hotel and be straight in the Park Zvezda with the incredible view up to the castle was wonderful The breakfast had everything you could want, and service was always helpful and friendly. We had a castle view from on the 6th (top floor) and was lovely to be able to see the castle - especially in the evening when it was lit up all different colours. Really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Cons: The only downside was there were metal slats every foot outside the window so you always had them in the way of the castle views.
